MARSHA Care is a women’s mental health and wellness practice offering compassionate, evidence-based therapy across Ontario, with in-person care in Barrie and Orillia and secure virtual services province-wide.

We specialize in pregnancy and postpartum mental health, infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, birth trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD in women and motherhood, perimenopause, relationships and other major life transitions.

Our team of registered social workers and psychotherapists provides individual and couples therapy, EMDR, CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), groups, workshops, clinical consultation and supervised lower-cost therapy through our student clinic.

We believe every woman’s life is her own story. Some chapters are only a sentence; others feel like entire volumes. When a chapter becomes overwhelming, you should not have to carry it alone - or search endlessly for the right door.

MARSHA stands for Motherhood, Access, Resources, Support, Health and Advocacy. It reflects how we practise: warm, trauma-informed and non-judgmental care; practical access; clear next steps; and thoughtful connections to the support that fits.

Founded by Amber Sperling, MSW, RSW, PMH-C, MMHPC, EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Consultant-in-Training, MARSHA Care is named in honour of Amber’s mother, Marsha. Her legacy lives in our commitment to mother the mothers - creating space for women to feel heard, experience meaningful healing and move into their next chapter with greater confidence and connection.
