Responsibilities
Conduct workplace inspections, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments; assist with incident paperwork and investigations; and maintain safety records and training schedules. Monitor PPE compliance, support regulatory compliance and JHSC meetings, provide weekly safety updates to the health and safety manager, and assist with the year-end audit.
Requirements
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to assess workplace safety and identify hazards. Familiarity with health and safety regulations applicable to construction or manufacturing is expected; WHMIS or occupational health and safety certifications are preferred.
