Summer Sales Intern | Door-to-Door | Barrie, Muskoka, Simcoe County, Northern GTA
Vantage Marketing Canada runs the summer sales program for Insight Pest Solutions. We've been doing this since 2009 and have hired over 1,500 students across seven provinces.
The job
You'll sell residential pest control door-to-door, Monday to Saturday (half day Saturday, Sundays off). You'll start with a sales bootcamp and keep getting coached by experienced managers all summer.
Typical day
Morning: your own time (gym, errands, whatever)
Noon: team meeting and training, then drive to your area
2 PM until dark: knocking doors
Pay
Commission only, starting at 20% and going up to 40% as you improve
Most reps make $15,000 to $25,000 over the summer
Top performers make a lot more

What you'll get out of it
Real sales and communication skills, experience handling rejection, and a summer of earning money based on what you put in. It's hard work, but you get paid for results.
