Waterfront zones and winter restrictions

How much does waterfront parking cost without a permit?

The rate is $15 an hour, up to $60 daily, enforced every day and around the clock. An active approved waterfront permit may cover eligible areas. Some summer spillover streets are permit-only, so paying the ordinary hourly rate does not authorize parking everywhere beside the waterfront.

Can I use a downtown or waterfront permit in hybrid lots?

No. Spirit Catcher, Simcoe Street and North Marina are hybrid lots, and the marina lot has its own permit arrangement. Downtown and waterfront permits are not accepted there. Without a marina permit, the listed rate is $15 an hour or $60 daily, enforced year-round.
